The Story of RROEE
RROEE was born from a belief that seems obvious — but turns out to be radical: water should support human health, not threaten it.
The science of water contamination has changed dramatically in the past decade. PFAS, microplastics, nanoplastics, pharmaceutical residues — threats that didn't exist in public consciousness when most filtration technologies were designed.
At the same time, the science of functional water has advanced just as quickly. Molecular hydrogen. Antioxidant capacity. Cellular hydration. We saw a gap: no system addressed both. So we built one.
In early 2024, working with a team of expert consultants in the United States, Ioannis began designing what would become RROEE. A period of trials, tests, and corrections followed until the final design was approved. Every production run is supervised by a company expert to ensure consistent quality.
The result is the world's first Water Wellness System™ — a 9-stage innovative purification and enrichment system. Not just a filter. A system that removes what harms water and restores what water is meant to be. Patent pending worldwide.
The system was validated by the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Institut Pasteur Hellénique before a single unit was sold. In Greece, the product launched under the name NEARON YDOR. RROEE is the brand created for the United States and European markets.
Ioannis Vogiatzoglou has spent four decades at the intersection of water, health, and entrepreneurship. Born in Greece and educated in London — BSc Engineering at the Polytechnic of Central London and Economics at City University — he built his first company, Syntchem SA, the first producer and distributor of synthetic lubricants in Greece, which he sold to FUCHS in 1986.
In 1987, he founded Aquafil SA, which introduced water purification systems to the Greek market — a company that still operates today. This was the seed of a lifelong conviction: that water quality is a fundamental health issue.
After years building businesses across advertising, loyalty programs, and food service — including CHILLBOX USA, a Greek frozen yogurt franchise across New York, New Jersey, and Florida — Ioannis returned to water. In 2017, he founded Quality Water for Life LLC, dedicated to reverse osmosis purification for homes and small businesses in the United States.
What he found alarmed him. US tap water was getting worse — not better. PFAS, microplastics, pharmaceutical residues. The filtration technologies on the market hadn't kept up. None of them addressed what water should actually do: support the human body, not just avoid harming it.
Since 2019, Ioannis has also served as President of AQUA4ALL, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides water purification systems to financially disadvantaged communities and child-protection institutions in the US and internationally.

What RROEE Means
ΡοήRROEE is inspired by the Greek word Ροή (Roí), meaning flow. It represents the natural movement of water, the rhythm of life, and the continuous connection between purity, wellness, and balance.
RROEE embodies the idea that water should move as nature intended — clean, vital, and life-supporting.
In Greece, the same product is sold under the name NEARON YDOR (Νέαρον Ύδωρ) — from ancient Greek for fresh, pure water.
